Maister's new book, '8 Cool Cats: The Underdogs, ' delves into friendships and trust between different cultures and backgrounds wrapped into a children's story featuring cats and dogs and rock and roll music.

With 'A Change of Reign: Realm of the Unimages, ' Alex Maister has created a story that resonates with some of the deepest issues of our modern times: racism, fascism, greed, wealth for the sake of creating wealth, mass migrations, extreme poverty, and a general apathy towards the plight of others.  

Having travelled extensively, he has called Asia, Europe, and North America his home before finally anchoring his dreams in the United Kingdom. He has lived on this island for the longest time and regularly travels (mainly to soak in the sun and walk along the beach somewhere warmer where the sun shines more often).

Maister's professional journey began in marketing, where he sharpened his skills and acumen as a consultant. This rich tapestry of experiences across different cultures and industries has profoundly shaped his storytelling, infusing it with unique perspectives and insights.

He loves cinema and brings a cinematic element to his storytelling. Having been involved in several film and TV projects over the years, he hopes to bring this fantasy story to the screen soon.

At present, an initial series of three books is planned for this series, followed by another three sequels should the first three prove popular. 'A Change of Reign is his first book in the Realm of the Unimages series.

Both 8 Cool Cats and the Realm of the Unimages worlds are being developed for television.
